The Challenge of Life

Determination meets Persuasion outside in the park.

Persuasion started commenting about the lights in the dark.

Determination listened as it folded its hands over its chest.

Persuasion stepped in closer and tried its level best.

Persuasion said,” With a little persuasion, Determination will crumble.”

Determination retorted, “ Determination will never stumble.”

Persuasion persisted, “ If I push a little harder, you will succumb to my will.”

Determination laughed loudly and said, “ I will always remain here standing still.”

Persuasion got agitated and moved closer to Determination.

Persuasion knew of it made the right moves, said the right words, Persuasion would definitely win.

Determination stood like a rock facing Persuasion full throttle,

Determination knew with a just a little Determination it would succeed.

So, into the night they argued and challenged but by dawn one was triumphant and the other had fallen.

Can you guess who was still standing in the light of the morning sun?
