Fodder of my fantasies

You are the fodder of my fantasies.
Dancing amongst clouds and rainbows
Because your reality is stormy and grey hiding beneath the shadows

A thought and a reality

A shadow, an island, a lost memory floating in the wind
I jump and play in front of you and hope you can see me.
But you look past me at her vision.
She turns her head to ignore your pangs of desire.
So I sit clinging on to your shirttail, as you sit by her feet gazing up at her and she stares off in the distance, looking nowhere.

When destinies collide

Let me lower my voice so no one but you can hear.
Right now, it seems impossible and you can't see how you can feel this.
You have determined to hold strong and not let go.
I respect that.
But guess what
If the tides change
If fates come into focus
 When destinies collide
Then
You will look up one day and what you thought was impossible will be possible.
The forest you used to pass every day with the dying trees will have a young green sprout pushing out of the earth and then and only then you will see it is possible.
So
I will wait for that conversation
For your epiphany, when all the lights turn on
Don't worry, I have an eternity of patience

Your...

Your Mama never
Your Ride or Die whenever
Your sister of course
Your Basic Bitch by force
Your friend definitely always
Your wife to the grave
Your Big, Blonde, Buxom Bimbo NOPE
Your Confidente I hope
Your Halal God willing
Your Love from the beginning
And when this body returns to dust.
My soul will hold the memory of us eternally.

All

With all your beauty and imperfection
With all your hope and intention
With all your care and attention
With all your sweetness and affection
I embrace all that is you, completely.

Chokin'

Aww, girl, you woke up chokin'
Trying to drink somebody else's spit.

The beach

Another wave crashed as I stare at the ground.
No strength do I have as the water weighs me down.
Cannot swim or walk back, I can't even drown
Just count the seconds thinking should I just lay down?
Deafening silence surrounds me not even a sound
I won't look up and I dare look around.
No more smiles and definitely no frowns
If I reach out will I ever be found?
To this manufactured fate I am chained and bound.

A piece of it

Your hand pressed deep into my soul, you squeezed it.

When you lifted your fingers you snatched a piece of it.

Now I am left with the scar remaining inside it.

The other one

Carla sat in front of Martha.
Martha hoped she was him but she didn't show the disappointment on her face. "So, he is getting engaged."
Carla said and she drew on the table with her finger. "
The one that his parents like, short brown hair with the harsh features.
We saw her here with him a few weeks ago. " Carla searched Martha's eyes for a response.
Martha breathed in deeply, the knife in her chest dug harder.
She looked at Carla and forced a smile. "If he is happy, then I must be happy also.".

The announcement - A new book by Susanna K.

She sat in the same place where she met him for the first time. "Kettles" was 5 minutes away from her apartment.
It was her coffee shop where she read, wrote and contemplated.
The news hit her and she needed to recollect herself.
"Sir, the General called. You need to be on the base within 24 hours."
Jared's butler was breathless as he gave the heavy news.
A dark brown curl fell over her left eye.
She stared into the coffee cup. A gentle hand touched her shoulder.
